Hello,
About a month back, I posted about my frustrations of applying for about 30 jobs within one very good institution...I will not go into specifics, because I know people have been through worse situations.
I salute everyone that has have gotten their dream job. I salute people that have been unemployed for long periods of time, to never give up, and to keep fighting, and get a wonderful job. For the people that read these posts, to become inspired, to keep being motivated during a recession and a pandemic to find their happy ending.
I salute you all, and you can put this post within the category of happy endings, because I was offered a supervisor position today, and specifics will be finalized tomorrow. I thank you for the posts of inspiration, I am thankful that this can be a place of hope and to help others. While many people are starting new chapters, I hope new chapters become more frequent, and more good stories to be told. To come from a place of despair to a place of joy. To have a story influence a stranger, family member, or whoever needs it the most. May some or if not ALL of your best days still be out of front of you. Take care and thank you for the inspiration.
