Upcoming meeting with directors and HR

Hey everyone! Could use some advice or feedback. I interviewed for a supervisor position 3 weeks ago at my current place of employment. There hasn’t been any follow up or much discussion since, we’re pretty busy these days. At the end of the work day today, one of my directors forwarded me a meeting invite simply titled “Discussion” with myself, them, my other director, and HR. There was no message or context provided. Today is Tuesday, and the meeting isn’t until Friday.

Should I just chill and wait patiently? Or is it appropriate for me to ask my directors for some context before heading in to this meeting? “Discussion” just sounds so ominous!
