Sterling Background Check

How long does the background check process at Sterling take typically? I filled out the forms about a week ago and I haven’t hear back since. I’m assuming they’re going to contact me requesting for additional information since there is no one in the office at my work to verify employment history.

Also, do you receive confirmation that you passed the background check upon completion?
