tldr: Recruiter still hasn't answered a week after what felt like good interviews. How long should i wait before following up with interviewer?
So I've been lucky enough to get 5 interviews for my dream job that I've been working toward since I was a teenager.
I passed my first round interview with the person that would be my direct boss and he really seemed to like me very much and said I was a great technical fit for the job and interviewed real well.
Last friday I had three more interviews to meet the rest on the team. The conversation felt really natural and everyone seemed to like me and said positive things about me. In hindsight I can think of a few questions that I could have answered better with one of the interviewers but he seemed to like me regardless and we ended up talking for quite a while.
I sent out thank you emails to everyone immediately after including the recruiter and got no reply. Yesterday I emailed the recruiter following up and no reply today. Its been 1 week since my second round of interviews.
I plan on emailing the first guy that interviewed me (my perspective boss) if i don't hear anything back from the recruiter by tuesday. Is this alright to do? I want to stress that this is literally my dream job that I've been doing nothing but work toward for the past decade and I really don't want to do anything that would ruin my chances.
