Offer letter -timeline

So I interviewed with a pretty heavy Fintech firm and it went well. I received the verbal. The problem now is that it’s going on a month and I have not received an offer letter. I am used to waiting at most 1 week. I suppose in the age of covid and remote work I should extend this to two weeks. But a month? I have spoken to the firms Talent Recruiter and he assures me that all is well and the holdup was at first the time it took for the CEO to approve and now they are figuring out which business unit to be me under.

My B.S. detector is tingling a bit. I am thinking of relaunching my job search again . Has anyone gone through something similar? Thoughts ? Send prayers as well as this job is a game changer for my family.
