It would be nice if US recruiters would know US law

So many recruiters ask if I am a US citizen. That is not a valid question.

I alway reply I am eligible to work for any US employer.

Sure companies that need a security clearance or a US citizen can ask if you can meet that requirement and I can answer yes.

I had a Pennsylvania recruiter argue that they could ask it. Pro tip: They cannot.

Heck, years ago I had a half day class on interview law. There is a bullet point list of questions you cannot ask. This isn’t hard.
