Just a rant!
I’m a dog groomer. I was unemployed for about 6 months when covid hit and I finally found a position in December! My position is commission only, and the business just opened in October of 2020. I was so excited I wasn’t even worried about it being slow. Well, I only work 4 days a week (9-2ish) because we’re so slow, barely making any money. I’m building a client base though, so I was hopeful we would get busier and not lose hope. I got 2 job offers in this time but passed on them because I had soo much hope, and my current job offers a higher commission. I just found out today that we are hiring another groomer, which means the small workload I have will now be spread between the two of us. I’m just so frustrated and over this place.
