So, I’m struggling and I’m super upset! My boss told me on Friday that I was moving from making $17.17/hr to salary position making 40k. I’m a sales rep and I was on a trial run (for two years I might add). I was ecstatic until I looked over my W2.
I realize $17.17/hr translates to a little over 35k but I didn’t work the typical 40 hrs/week. My average work week is about 44. My 2020 taxes show I made 39,802. After realizing this I feel so upset...
Should I bring it up? Should I try to negotiate? I’m so upset...
