Hello all . So I applied for a job a few weeks ago via indeed. They accepted my application and a zoom interview was scheduled which went very smoothly. The person who was interviewing me said I was hired at the end of the interview. Two days later he sent me all the paperwork and forms that I needed to fill and also mentioned that after I submit the paperwork he’d schedule another meeting for orientation. I sent him all the papers few days after. Now it’s been over almost two weeks and I haven’t heard anything from them and it’s making me really anxious. What could this mean? Have they found a better candidate and decided to go with him/her? Are they conducting my background check?In any case, shouldn’t they at least update me on what’s me going on ?
