I’m really in a jam and could use any help that’s out there.
My car has been giving me problems and it’s getting to the point where I won’t be able to drive it anymore soon. I currently work for Amazon and make minimum wage. My job is about 45 minutes from my home, and is about an hour commute during rush hour. I would not be able to afford ubering to and from work everyday. I would need to either buy a new car or quit my job.
I am a 22 year old student, completing my last year of college. I don’t rely on my parents for much financially and have bills I have to afford. I have over 115 certified college credits as well as a high school diploma. I also have wide experience in customer service, retail, and food service positions. I also have internship experiences at some media production companies because this is what I am studying in college and it is also a graduation requirement. Although I am in school, I have very few classes since this is my last year and the classes I do have are online so my flexibility is very free.
I’m very proficient in writing...I got through most of my freshman-junior year by writing papers for other students for money. I would not be opposed to any possible transcriptionist positions or anything else remote that requires a lot of writing or typing.
For any comments about applying for non-remote jobs, I have done this too. I’ve been trying to leave Amazon for a while and had an interview a while back with a government job that I am very hopeful I will receive. So while I am in the process of applying for in person jobs I would really like to consider remote positions too especially since I may not have a car.
Please, no jobs that are similar to sites like swagbucks or the other popular websites that pay you like 15 cents per survey. I’m really desperate and just need solid, remote work opportunities. If I had the body for it, at this point I’d really settle for joining onlyfans (lol)
