It’s been 3 weeks since final interview, still waiting for a response

Is this common? It seems veryyyy long. They originally told me it’d be 1-2 weeks. I reached out last week and they said it’d be more like the end of this week. Hopefully I’ll hear from them Thursday or Friday. But doesn’t this seem like they’re really dragging their feet? What could they possibly still be figuring out 😩
