Hey, I am from another country. I am applying for CS internship positions.

As you can see I have a big gap after high school. A friend told me that if I don't write anything about the gap they will not get back to me that they will think I have a dark secret, I was in prison or something.
So my story is: I never worked in a job all those years. I was interested in investing from young age so, I was living off of investing, I never earned enough money to do it full time as a job but it was enough living a student life without paying rent in my family's house. I also developed some games and was able to earn from it for a while. I don't see those years as a failure because I learned so much, met lots of people, had life experiences and found out that I want to work as a software engineer, this is why I went back to university and graduating this year. I am still investing actively and I am a good investor but I don't want to do that as a job.
Can I include this in the resume, if so where and how? Under work experience part? Like I might write I was an Investor between 2009-2018? or put a summary part at the top and tell my story in a paragraph?
Also I was thinking that if I say I am an investor they will think I already have money that I don't need money, so that I wouldn't work hard. I am also living in a place that is considered a rich neighborhood, should I give a full adress to show that I live there? I was trying to hide those because I didn't want to be seen as a rich investor or something.
