Hi all
I accepted a job in a different city for a company that did not have any openings in the city I currently live in. I want to move back to the city I currently live in desperately and am wondering if I would be able to pull off transferring offices within the first 6 months? I would basically spend all my free time trying to contact HR folks in my current city (I haven't moved yet) but worried it may be too soon? Alternatively, I wonder if being so new to the company it would be even easier to apply for and be granted for a transfer ASAP.
What I am really trying to do is, as the role itself will be virtual until COVID ends, continue living in my current city and hope I can secure a transfer before we would need to come back to the office at all
