What’s the best way to build experience towards the career you are pursuing?

I’m planning to return to school this spring for a double major in accounting and management. I was wondering what are some of the best ways i can obtain a job in a related field to build experience.

I’ve searched my area and most have so many years experience while only experience i really have is surveying and food service.

If anyone has any tips to getting better settled for the future I’d greatly appreciate it!
