So in San Diego I found a housecleaning company. Guy took 4 or 5 phone calls to get in touch with. He’s willing to hire right away, since I had some cleaning experience in the past. He said the house cleaning jobs are a one person thing (is clean by myself). If he gives me a job how am I supposed to know if it is a real company? I’m scared. Also $20 an hour. Does this seem legit??? Again I’m in San Diego. I remember my grandma pays her house cleaners around $90 and it’s two of them and they are done in 90 minutes around. It doesn’t make sense how is he making money if it’s $20 an hour for me. He seemed very nice too, that’s why I feel a little sketched. Lol. What can I do to ensure my safety? Also i won’t be going to a house in the ghetto or anything, but I do know you can get kidnapped anywhere, nice place or not. I could go to some mansion and get locked there. Oh god this makes me not want to do this but at the same time I need a job! But I deff won’t do it if I feel unsafe by any means. Also one thing I remember he said : “been getting a lot of calls but can’t keep up with all the cleaning requests”, “just hired one girl the other day and I have another spot left”... that doesn’t make sense. If he is getting so many calls wouldn’t he need to hire WAY more people not just one more girl??? Even if I had my boyfriend wait outside who would know if they just put on a front that one time then the next time I come and my bf not around they kidnap me ?
