Asking for a relative who received a remote job offer from a large company that uses Hireright. This person is a US citizen but worked overseas for an international company within the past 5 years.
Hireright is asking for some complicated stuff to run a background check in the other country where they worked. They can’t get straight answers from either Hireright or the company’s HR dept in order to provide the necessary documentation. Each one keeps pointing to the other. It’s causing delays that put the job offer at risk. If someone has successfully navigated a similar issue with non-US work experience can you either share below or DM me?
