I had a crazy idea that I wanted to pitch to people. I served for five years in the Marine corps. I got out and have been working and living life like a normal person. Well we are wanting to leave the current state we live in, but the girlfriend and I have no destination and no idea where to be. We do not want to live on either coastal lines and not Texas. So here is my crazy idea; I got a GI bill, that is 36 months of free college with all the added benefits to it. I would like to sell my GI bill. Now I know I can't transfer it to someone else. But I am willing to get any tailored degree regardless of field of work with the guarantee of ten years of work. Now I know this is kind of a crazy idea. Why would I do it? Well I am a custom wood worker currently and I love my job. I served in the infantry, and was a presidential guard with a clearance Yankee White. When I was a kid I worked in a metal fabrication shop that my family owned. My point is I have done different jobs and had different experience in them all. Now I am getting ready to reset my life again, and would like to see what the universal throws my way. Why would anyone go for it? Well you hear about company's needing this one very specific degree that they cant find or fill. Since I have no where to be, I figured I would do it and see how it goes. Naturally I would attempt to attend the recommended college of the companies choice. I have never been to college so I don’t know how that works. I would want to do a 3 month internship at the company to see if we are a good fit for each other. I do not want to work on the coast lines, I am over that life style. Figured I would throw this out here on reddit. My friend talks about this website. I have never been here, other then listening to reddit stories on youtube.
