I recently graduated with a bachelor degree in marketing on 12/2019. The only job I had is being a nail technician for 2 years now and currently working. I didn’t need to get interview so it was ok. Nails was kind of a side job while in college. Now that I graduated, I want to work in my field, but I’m just so scared of interviews because I don’t know what they will ask and afraid I can’t answer it. I have applied few jobs around January and when they call back, I get so nervous that I don’t pick up. I also think gaining weight made me less confident which I’m working on right now. Furthermore, I have no experience outside of nails. When I look at these job description, I have an idea what it is but not entirely sure if I can do it since I have no experience. Im not sure if they would train me or expect me to know how to do the job descriptions which require few years of experience which I don’t have. The only experience I have is learning from school but no hands on or work experience. I feel like I’ll be more comfortable if they train but most description doesn’t state they train.
Now that it’s been a year, I really want to face my fear but just so nervous. I know that once I’ll go to one interview, I’ll know what to expect and be prepare for my next one. I understand I’ll face rejection. It’s just I’m nervous for my first real interview when they ask me questions. It’s the questions that I’m mostly nervous about.
