Anyone get an offer on a good job without tailoring their resume or writing a cover letter?
I haven't looked for a job in more than 10 years and now am needing to. It's time consuming. I'm fortunate to still have a job, but my time is running out, and between work from home, schooling my kid at home, and working on a certification, I'm finding it hard to dedicate the time I need to to applying for jobs. I haven't tailored my resume or sent cover letters with the last several roles I've applied to. I'm in supply chain in the Ag industry and applying for supply chain in other industries, some wfh and some in a state I plan to self-relocate to. I (think) I have a decent amount of experience and I don't think I'm applying to roles I couldn't do. It's been so long that I'm struggling. And I'm not great at networking, ugh.
