Potential Employer Gave Me Their Cell Number

I submitted a job application for a seasonal job a few weeks ago I just finally got a call back. They left a voicemail asking if I was still interested in the position. They left me the store number and the manager left me their Cell Number if I had any questions. 10 mins after receiving the call, I called the store number and no managers were available. One of the workers took down my name and number and said the manager would be in touch.

How long should I wait for a call back before I call the manager's cell? If I contact the manager's cell phone right now, would that be acceptable? If so, what would be the preferred method of contact, text or phone call?
