How do you find trade jobs?

I’m thinking about getting out of the Navy in May, where I was an aviation mechanic. I think a trade job could be a good fit for me. I was thinking HVAC. How do you go about finding jobs / apprenticeships? I am on Indeed and searching things such as “trade jobs, apprenticeships, HVAC apprentice” etc etc etc. not much popping up.
