How do you change careers when you don't know what you want to do?

TL;DR: I'm 4.5 years into a job that I don't want to become a career and don't know where to start on switching careers, preferably out of Customer Service based.

I'll try to keep this short. I graduated from college with a BA in Multi-Disciplinary studies. When I explain my degree I either get a "wtf is that & what can you do with that?" reaction or a "wow you can basically do anything" reaction. Basically my degree is a combination of communications, business administration and human services. Shockingly, I currently work in insurance based customer service.

It sucks, plain and simple. I feel like I dreaded everyday driving to work and hoped a meteor would plummet into my windshield because it was so awful (now WFH due to Rona). Eventually around year 3.5, things slowed down and I had a handle on my work and was planning to venture out and move cross-country and see if can switch careers and go on interviews but then not only did Rona hit, but I also got promoted.

The promotion is awful, it is NOT what I expected at all. Mainly due to now being paid salary as opposed to hourly which I did not sign up for when I held my previous position. Previously, it was more customer service where the customers could "hear the smile through the phone" (yes, management said that during training). Now I negotiate injury settlements with attorneys which is a bit more fun because you can be meaner BUT the workload isn't ideal.

I have phone & computer experience, negotiation and some injury background now too. But now sure what I could branch into. I DO NOT want to be sitting at a desk, staring at a computer or on the phone all day. Some of the time is okay but not ALL the time. I strive on the fact that I can be adaptable, I was in the first virtual training class for my promotion due to the pandemic and was the first one in my class to get a certification raise. I love learning new tactics and skills but just don't know where to start or how.
