employers, what would be your impression?

If a female employee wore the same exact outfit to work every day (had multiples of the same exact outfit)? Assuming they were clean, well-groomed, and professional, but very boring. What if they refused to buy new clothes or dress more stylishly? Brutally honest answers only. I want to know what would go on in employers heads if they came across this? More to the point, why does it matter if the employee does good work? I assume this is only an issue for women since nobody cares what men wear and their clothes tend not to vary as much.
