Do I take this low paying job?

Over the last year I interned at a company in the entertainment industry, due to covid there was a break in-between but i started back up again. I worked for free during those months and now got a job offer to start getting paid in January. I love the job, the people, the work I'm doing is great and I really look forward to going to work everyday, even though I commute 50 mins to go 45 miles (because of covid theres less traffic).

I got my offer and its for 30K a year before taxes.... I'm struggling to make the decision to stay or leave. If I'm being honest I want to say and I love the job but the fact it's already a 50 min drive everyday and i couldnt afford to relocate closer while getting paid 2500 a month, I dont know if its worth it. I work really hard, more than 40 hours a week and am doing administrative work that i could make 45-50K anywhere else.

I know i should be grateful to have anything especially in this industry and during covid times, a lot of people are struggling. I guess i just need some honest advice if I should do it.

Another detail is my hours are 1030-730 so i leave in the morning and because of my commute i dont get home till 9ish sometimes. Is that, on top of all the gas/money i waste worth it if i love it?

I know the entertainment industry is known for hard work and low pay so i shouldnt be surprised. My friend told me I'm an idiot and i should take the offer because it's a way into the industry like i've wanted and will be worth it in the long haul. Should i just suck it up and take it and see where this goes?

Thanks in advance for your thoughts!
