I’m an MBA student, with a focus in finance, seeking employment within the finance industry. My background includes a Bachelor of Arts in Gov/Politics and I accepted a bookkeeping internship for a company I believed to be related to politics. Over time I grew a strong interest in working within the finance industry and working on quantitative analysis rather than analysis based on political theories and policies. After I graduated with my bachelor’s I took on a role as an administrative assistant with the perception that there was opportunity to apply for positions within the finance department later on. Once I found out this wasn’t true and I ended up working in a hostile environment, I ended up quitting and was working as a sales associate for an gym while in graduate schooling pursuing an MBA in Finance. If anyone has any suggestions of companies, within the finance industry, I would be a good fit for, given my educational background and work experience, please comment below!
