Question Regarding a job hiring

Hi there,

I was interviewed at Best Buy earlier this week, and at the end of the interview I was told that I meet all the requirements and I am hired for the job. I was also told that I will be receiving a job offer via email in a few days.

Two days later, I quit my other job with the mindset that I will now be working at Best Buy. However, today, I received an email saying I am not hired and they will not be continuing with my application.

At the time of the interview, I was ensured that I got the job, which is why I was confident that I have it. Now, I currently am jobless because of Best Buy's false words.

What can be my next steps in a situation like this?

Any input on what I should do right now would be greatly appreciated.
