First off, let me say sorry if this isn’t the place to post this, I’ve checked the rules and this seemed like the best place. I’ve been offered a job at an insurance place and I’m thinking about giving it a try. It seems promising and I don’t have many other obligations at the moment. The pay even for newer workers is good from the examples I’ve seen, the hours don’t seem unreasonable (unreasonable being extremely long hours or almost no days off), and since appointments are set up before hand it seems fairly safe. I’ve done my best to ask as many questions as I can and it seems promising. Of coarse, every job has its negatives, so I wanted to get some advice from people who are working in selling insurance or have done it before. Is the job worth taking? What are some of the benefits and bigger issues with working here? And is this something viable for long term if I find success in this place? I don’t want to give out to many specifics so hopefully that’s enough to work off of. Thanks for the help!
