Is there a way I can handle this situation?

I submitted an application a month ago, and received a call and voicemail a few days later. Due to some technical difficulties I never saw the voicemail until now. They are still hiring for the position as well as others. Should I message them? Call them back? Submit another application? Can I make this up somehow?
