If first interviews are mostly based on introductions and how you deal with interpersonal relationships/issues in the office, what are second interviews based on?

Just as my first interview wrapped up earlier today, the hiring manager with whom I was speaking with mentioned that I should be expecting to hear from them in the next couple of days for next steps and that I could always email them if I remembered any other questions I planned on asking... which I guess is maybe good?

If I make it through, I have to do a little marketing assignment for them to show my competency basically as per the role I applied for.

So, here's where I'm confused. If I "pass" onto the next round, is the second interview about my technical skills? I can almost gurantee that if I move onto the second interview, that they'll probably talk to me about the sample I marketed for them... but what other things are typically touched on/mentioned in a second round interview?

Again, I don't exactly know yet if I made it through, but if I do, how can I expect to prepare for the second interview? This is for a sort of hybrid communications/marketing position.
