I currently work full time and finish undergrad soon. I haven’t applied yet, but in Fall 2022, I’m probably going to leave for grad school. I’ll spare the details... but some time during the summer of 2021, I’m expecting to leave my current job, which leaves me in an awkward position where I still need employment 1 more year until I leave for grad school.
Has anyone been in this awkward position before? I want to be employed with another company for the time being, but I’m just not sure how I am supposed to frame it during the hiring process.
If I tell them, they‘re probably not going to hire me. Do I lie about it or just not bring it up?
