Hi all. Looking for some advice on how to proceed with an opportunity. I’ve been in my current position for almost 2 years. It’s a great technology company and “best place to work”. I was approached by a recruiter via LinkedIn (I’m not actively seeking new opportunities but recruiters seem to find my profile and reach out for jobs). I currently make 160k with bonus and the benefits are great. I’m permanently WFH. The recruiters asked me what it would take to leave my current employer and i ball-parked 160-180k with %20 bonus. I’m not looking to leave my current employer but if they offered me the amount I’m looking for and if it’s a right fit how do I go back to my current employer and basically ask for more money to stay? Anyone have experience with this?
