I could not find a "Burlington stores(Coat Factory)" community. Maybe we should start a Burlington Coat Factory community? Are there anyone who currently works for Burlington Coat Factory? I used to work for Burlington for a couple of months. I was hired as a seasonal sales associate. I used to work most positions(Cashier, Receiving, Markdown), depending on if other workers were not available for their shift. My absolute most favorite position was Markdown Associate at Burlington Stores. Sometimes I would work from 7AM-11AM or from 7AM- until finishing in the afternoon/evenings. By working as a Markdown Associate, I used the scan gun to scan all merchandise in a department, put a red tag clearance sticker, and then move it to the clearance aisle. I begged my manager to change my position to Markdown Associate, but at the time, Burlington did not have the position available to hire yet. As a Sales Associate, I loved working on the sales floor to help customers & clean. My most challenging part was getting the department bins for "go backs" and finding where each specific item goes. I was not the best in putting "go backs" in the specific spot as it confuses me to know exactly where to put each item. Overall, my experience with Burlington has been great. I loved using their network app for social, my in store experience, employee discount, and my manager. It felt like family at Burlington. I used to get so many hours to work from Burlington as that many workers would call in sick to not come to work. I really miss Burlington and hope that I can apply for their Markdown Associate position as it is only part time and only works 3 days a week.
