I’m trying to get into a job at State auto and I was actually told I have the job back in March but they’d put me in a hiring pool. Then corona hit and they went on a hiring freeze and they said that I could do classes through Clark state to become a guaranteed hire. So now I am doing these classes online while working at my other job at TQL. That job makes me work 50 hours a week and I make 1,000 every two weeks. Try to stay on top of the Clark state classes and also raise a son. I just feel like I have to take twice the amount of work to get a stable job. I can’t afford these 200$ text books. I have to put food on the table. Its like man should I decide on eating or paying for these classes. If I buy the books and classes I get a job that pays well and can feed my son. But also I do tend to get hungry. WTF. I want to just drop out of these classes and risk it to see when I will get hired. But I also hate barely having enough money for me and my son.
