Boss told me her goal is for me to become supervisor . . is this normal?

I work at a childcare center. I have no previous experience at a state-licensed daycare. This is the end of my first week working at this daycare and my boss told me today that her goal is for me to take on as supervisor. Every room has a supervisor. They’re pretty much the main person responsible for the children with two or three other teachers in the room assisting.

Boss says I have the personality for it and I’m great with the kids.

It sounds too good to be true.
