Applied to a part-time position even though I need full-time

I was offered a phone interview for a job I was very interested in. Even though I wanted full time and knew the job was a part time position I still applied because a friend referred me and she said she got hired as a full time even though the position was listed as part time. The Recruiter contacts me the very next day of applying and says just so you know it’s part time and asks were you looking for full time. I said yes but she says well it’s a part time 20 hour a week position. Have you ever been in a similar situation and if so what’d you do.... I really was in the job ugh
