Hello , my name is Drew and I am looking to start a conversation about something that has been bothering me for the longest time. I am 24 years old and have been working sales jobs since I am 17. I have been very successful in my years, and even have a bachelors degree in Business Administration. The issue that I have is I never find myself staying at a job. I become complacent, and want more. Now I thought this was because of compensation and hours worked, but it really was something deeper than this. I do not want to be handed stuff, but also I want to build a better world than I have been handed. I struggle to find this at every place of employment I have worked so far, as I just feel I am taking advantage of people using sleezy sales tactics.
Here's where the issue gets difficult, people also ask me what my passion is. I do not have one that makes sense to the common employer or friend. I love craft beer, I love sports, and I love playing video games. I would kill to be a content creator, and would love to have a platform that some people have. I want money to support my family and one day start a family of my own. But what I really want is to help people. It's truly my passion. It took me 24 years to figure that out. All I want to do is help as many people I can however I can. Except stupid decisions and poor life choices have me thousands of dollars in debt. I have no idea where to go from here that wont just put me in another job I hate. I just want to do something where I wake up everyday, can support the people I care about, but also help others.
