I always like seeing people’s stats about job hunting so I thought I’d share mine! Searched for a job as an SDR/BDR for a tech start up and accepted a position in mid-August after two interviews with the company. Had 1 year of sales experience prior but not in SaaS, graduated from a top university in 2019.
Applications: ~500 from March-July looked lightly while still employed (got a position but quit due to a horrible boss) looked again more heavily from July - August
Ghosted: ~%60 at least
Recruiters: ~20 contacts (two interviews w/companies)
Interview Requests after accepting: ~8
Companies Interviewed with: ~24 Companies Interviewed with more than once: 14 Rejected further interviews myself (due to low salary etc): 8 Total interviews from (including written rounds etc): July - August 46
Offers (over 5 month period): 3
