Missed call from potential employer and I have Laryngitis— help!

Hi everyone! Today I received a call from a potential employer who I am VERY interested in working for. I was not near my phone at the time, and they left me a voicemail stating that they have received my application and would like for me to call back at my “earliest convenience” to set up a job interview. Now, I really want this job, and normally I would have called back right away, but I am suffering from laryngitis at the moment and have zero voice. My mom called me earlier and told me I sound terrible over the phone and she can barely hear me. I have been trying all day to treat it with tea, honey cough drops, salt water gargles, and not talking/whispering. I am hoping by tomorrow I have just enough of a voice, Even if raspy, to call them back, express my interest in the position, and schedule an interview. I believe my voice plays a great role in showing the employer that I am personable, friendly, and can articulate thought well. So, will calling tomorrow be too late? If my voice is not back tomorrow, what should I do? I have a feeling it will at least be back the day after tomorrow at the latest, would that be too late to call back? This is terrible timing! I don’t want them to hear my voice and have a bad impression. Please help.
