I'm 14 and can't work but I want to be prepared for when I can start. Looking for advice.

I want general advice like how to get an interview, how many hours to work in a week, should I work during the school year, and general stuff like that. I'm planning to work as soon as I can but I don't know if I should reconsider that. Lmk your own experiences and what you would do.
