Days used to relocate being treated as vacation

Hi there,

I recently accepted a job within my company that required relocation (roughly 2000km). The expenses were paid for and in total I spent roughly 8 working days facilitating the move (driving, supervising the movers, 3 day house hunting trip, etc.). My boss is now saying that I will have to use my remaining vacation days to make up for this. Is this common practice and/or legal? I’m in Ontario Canada.
