Are there any decent career paths in customer service to make a decent wage

I have a bit of a customer service background, complaints handling, dispute resolution, admin. Lots of working with people skills. I am trying to find a path where I can make some ok money, nothing crazy, around the average national salary or below, not the lowest salary survivable. Did anyone start in customer service and progress?
