Hey everyone! Ive hit a major cross roads in my life recently, and its made me evaluate my work situation as well as my future and where im heading. With that being said i currently work a 3rd shift warehouse job making between 40-50k a year i have a 401k match and decent benefits. However this job has turned me into a zombie over the years and im planning on getting married and starting a family soon. I dont wanna always be unhappy and unsatisfied with life around my wife, itll make our lives so much harder. But recently i was made aware of a plumbing apprenticeship looking for new hires. I would take a 5 dollar pay cut which would be a huge blow. But do you guys think it would be better for me in the long run? Would i be satisfied with this work? Eventually making more money? Getting too see my wife and kids everyday? Im only 21 years old, but i wanna be able to take care of my future family, as well as myself. Would love some advice, thanks so much guys.
