Is it unprofessional to fill in documents using electronic signatures/ font?

I am filling out pre-employment processing documents and my printer isn’t reading the ink properly. I want to hand these papers in by Monday and I’ve been typing the info onto the document in preview and signing off electronically. Is this bad?
