I have a family emergency, can I quit a toxic workplace w/o a two week notice?

I have had multiple family crises since this pandemic began, and I've been having mental health issues. It's impacted my work performance and I'm abt a step away from being fired.

This weekend I found out about another family member becoming ill. Can I quit w/o notice? Finances are an issue, and I could use the money, but my partner makes substantially more and has offered to support me. I want to give a two week notice, but I worry I'd be fired anyway because I would under-perform because of depression. Also, the idea of working for two more weeks fills me with so much dread...
