Job application Q: Tell us about a problem you have taken ownership of. What steps did you take to see it through to the conclusion?
I'm finding it hard to answer this one because I act quite quickly and intuitively, not necessarily recognising things as 'problems'. I have asked my current employer for times they thought I did well in a crisis so I have a few examples of things I could use. Could anyone share a good example of a response or help me fill out my list of what employers are looking for in an answer.
some thoughts I've had
- my example of 'problem' will be a good indicator of my personality/ what I find hard so I should not pick something that was the fault of someone (will look like blaming). what about putting a mistake made on my behalf?
- a logical or creative response to the situation
- demonstration of my skills
