Hey guys, I went to an interview for a cafe assistant manager (growing franchise, about 15 locations). The interviewer and I bonded over having both worked at Starbucks previously. It seemed like she was so thrilled with me, she didn’t even ask me a single typical interview question (ie. tell me about yourself, strength and weaknesses, a time you resolved a conflict). She asked me when I could start, negotiated a salary, then said she’d email me a formal job offer the next day.... well that was yesterday and I still don’t have an email. I texted her yesterday at 5pm asking if she planned to send it so I could give my employer 2 weeks notice, but she never responded. I messaged her again 2 hours ago and nothing... I am in total shock right now... was I actually ghosted? I can’t even stress how much she seemed to like me, especially when she offered a higher position but I said I’d rather have the lesser so I could get proper training first, and she literally said “I’m so glad you said that”. She mentioned she was going on vacation soon, but didn’t say when. Does anyone any insight or ideas? I was so excited about this job and now I’m super bummed.
