Applying for a job online at my local Safeway and it says that supplying employment history is optional. Should I still do it?

I’m only 19 years old and my job experiences only include working with children and some restaurant work. I don’t feel like filling all that information again and I don’t really know if it would help my case anyway

Plus, I hear it’s short staffed there so idk how picky they can really be.
