Since we had physically went back to work recently, it's mandated that we have to wear a mask. I was in a situation where I had my mask off and even the person who is the creator of this small business I work for was there and didn't give opposition over it. There was complaint to the higher-ups (likely through the camera that shows what we are doing) and my manager said that she defended me and wanted to hear my side on it. She even said that it was weird for the fact that the founder was there and didn't say anything about it. This is an at-will employment and despite that my manager said she defended me for my work ethics, I still fear over it and that I might not have a job this coming Monday. Am I completely in the clear since nothing was written down? I had been thinking of looking for another job anyway but if I do get fired then this will not look good for the next employer to ask about at an interview.
