So I’m currently a college student who will graduate in the fall as a Business Law student. I keep going over my future career plans and I have no clue where I want to go anymore. I was obviously planning for law school but with the economy suffering the idea of shoving money towards law school is disheartening. I didn’t live the normal college life. I made sure to prioritize my grades so I could graduate a year early and study abroad in Japan, but then classes became online pushing my graduation back and cancelling studying abroad. I really looked forward to that break because I wanted to travel and see if maybe I wanted to work overseas. Now I’m just in limbo. I know how to work with a group, I was apart of the Resident Housing Association and I helped with sustainability. I also have organized events and know how to plan. So I’m wondering what job I could carve out for myself in this day and age? I’d prefer to work for myself, but if there is some other way I can be useful during this pandemic that would be great. How are other college students earning money right now and what advice do you have for branching out on your own?
