Hiring Manager calling to discuss the possibility of an internship -- what should I do, and how do I prepare?

I've been wanting an internship at this startup company for about a year now. I like their mission and want to work with them. They're still trying to decide whether or not to take an intern this summer and replied to my cold email asking for one saying that they (one employee) would like to call me to discuss the possibility. It sounds like an interview, but there was nothing explicitly suggesting it was going to be such a conversation. How should I prepare? Would it be any different from if they were to say explicitly it's going to be an interview?
